This device helps you improve power quality – it reduces unwanted harmonics, corrects power factor and balances uneven network load. Settings can be customised to your needs, allowing you to focus on what matters most for your operation. Thanks to intelligent harmonic suppression and automatic resonance detection, the device operates reliably and adapts to the specific requirements of your application.
The Danfoss AAF 007 active filter achieves up to 98.2% efficiency through advanced SiC technology. It is designed to reduce harmonic distortion in electrical networks and can be installed centrally or directly at individual drives. The latest generation of SiC switches reduces energy losses by up to 60% compared to conventional filters, while also effectively eliminating higher-order harmonics. The filter is compatible with all Danfoss drives, comes pre-configured from the factory and is ready for immediate commissioning.
Modules are available for 3 × 380–480 V AC networks with filtering currents of 35 A, 55 A, 100 A and 150 A. By connecting four 150 A modules in parallel, a filtering current of up to 600 A can be achieved. Additional voltage and power variants are available on request.
